Pastor Clyde McCammack received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Ball State University, a Master of Divinity Degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry Degree from the Northern Baptist Theological Seminary. His doctoral focus was on spirituality and church growth and he completed his thesis on small group ministries. He has mostly pastored churches in central Indiana and was also the Sr. Pastor of the First Baptist Church of San Diego. He enjoys proclaiming the Word of God, involving churches in church growth ideas, pastoral ministry, and equipping people as they serve as missionaries to their communities. Pastor Clyde played sports and still enjoys the “thrill of victory” and endures the “agony of defeat.” He has a wife, Kim, and two grown children, Holly and Abigail.
Pat has been a member of FBC all his life, and has spent years teaching and mentoring young people. He spent several years volunteering as a camp counselor at Camp Kirkwoood, has worked through Macedonian Ministries traveling all over Ohio to help other youth groups, and has been a long-time Sunday School teacher at FBC. His goal as the student ministry director is to push young people to do as much as they can in ministry right now, and to share Jesus with others.
Jill and Tom played a key role in starting our Awana children’s ministry in January 2008. Awana continues to be a thriving ministry of FBC. Together they continue to make an impact with FBC kids and community kids alike. They are dedicated to seeing this exciting ministry flourish because “kids matter to God.”
